The make-up holder consists of a moulded plastic body (10) of a rigid synthetic foam material, having an end face (15) from which the tips of a series of fixed make-up sticks or inked pads (11, 12, 13) project. The body can be asymmetrical in shape to provide an easy grip, and when not in use the projecting tips are covered by a cap (17). The make-up elements can be glued inside the body, or it can be injection-moulded round them.
