<p>First continuous web 103 as a component of disposable wearing article to be continuously manufactured is fed in a machine direction MD and first continuous elastic members 121 are fed via guide means adapted to oscillate the elastic members 121 in a cross direction CD crossing the machine direction MD and attached thereto. Each of the guide means comprises a first servomotor 73 having a rotary shaft 74 adapted to repeat reversal of its rotational direction, a first arm 53 connected directly with the rotary shaft 74 and extending in a direction crossing the rotary shaft 74 so that the first arm 53 swings around the rotary shaft 74 as the rotary shaft 74 rotates and a first feed member 52 adapted to direct the first continuous elastic members 121 toward guide means 54 formed on the first arm 53. <IMAGE></p> |
