PURPOSE: A field emission display is provided to minimize an unnecessary space other than the effective screen by applying anode voltage through an anode connector penetrating a back substrate and to improve insulation characteristic by exposing only the external terminal of the anode connector outside the back substrate. CONSTITUTION: A field emission display includes the first and second substrates(2,4), an electron source(12) arranged on the first substrate, an electron emitting part for emitting electrons from the electron source, a light-emitting part located on the second substrate to form images by the electrons emitted from the electron source, and an anode connector(30). The first and second substrates are opposite to each other and sealed up by a sealant(26) to construct a vacuum container. One end of the anode connector is fixed to the first substrate through a through-hole formed in the first substrate and the other end is connected to the light-emitting part to apply anode voltage to the light-emitting part.
