PURPOSE: A slide-type cellular phone is provided to fully open a cover from an upper side of a body through an operation of releasing the cover after pressing in front direction one time, while firmly maintaining a closed position of the cover, thereby preventing the cover from being easily opened. CONSTITUTION: A compression coil spring(5) is disposed between a front section of a mobile rail(4) and a front side of a fixing body(2). Cam grooves(41) including a locking groove are formed in an upper rear portion of the mobile rail(4). A guide groove(46) including a vertical long groove is comprised on one side of the cam grooves(41). A space portion(21) whose upper part is open is formed inside the fixing body(2). Locking units(6) are comprised in the space portion(21), to maintain a closed position of a cover by being inserted into the locking groove of the cam grooves(41), and to maintain an open position of the cover by a restoring force of the compression coil spring(5) through a release after being isolated from the locking groove.
