BLIND EQUALIZER OF A MULTI CARRIER RECEIVER AND AN EQUALIZING METHOD, PARTICULARLY IN ORDER TO EQUALIZE IN A FREQUENCY AREA BY USING AVAILABLE DATA INSTEAD OF A SYNCHRONOUS SIGNAL

PURPOSE: A blind equalizer of a multi carrier receiver and an equalizing method are provided to perform an equalization process by using available data of a frequency area, in order to compensate for a change of a channel even though the channel changes on a time basis, thereby maintaining a high equalization performance. CONSTITUTION: An additional data remover(400) removes additional data inserted for transceiving among received multi carrier signals, and retains available data. A FFT(Fast Fourier Transform) unit(410) FFT-operates the retained available data, and converts the operated data into a signal of a frequency area. An adaptive equalizer(420) equalizes the converted signal based on a predetermined operational formula. An error calculator(440) receives the equalized signal, and calculates an error. The adaptive equalizer(420) updates the operational formula by corresponding to the error.
