An assembly for the temporary obduration of a piping system incorporating a stopper comprises a rigid rim incorporating a cylindrical sleeve forming a housing; a flexible reservoir in the housing; rigid plates for closing one end of the sleeve and for forming a sealed chamber for filling with a biological protective material; a coupling mechanism; and guidance elements in the piping system. An assembly (2) for the temporary obduration of a piping system (1) incorporating a stopper (10) comprises: (a) a rigid body in the form of a rim incorporating a cylindrical sleeve (11, 16) fitted on each end with a lip (12, 13) providing with them a housing (14); (b) a flexible and sealed annular reservoir (15) in the housing; (c) a first rigid plate (19) for closing one end of the sleeve and a second rigid plate (20) providing with the first plate a sealed chamber (21) for filling with a biological protective material; (d) a mechanical and hydraulic coupling mechanism (25); (e) some guidance elements (26) in the piping system. Independent claims are also included for: (a) A method for the installation of the stopper assembly; (b) A method for the withdrawal of the stopper assembly.
