PURPOSE: A mobile communication system and a control station are provided to set the second different individual channel in the first individual channel during communication through the first individual channel, with a method of retaining the first and second individual channels during a predetermined period after setting the second individual channel. CONSTITUTION: Base stations(201,211) are installed within a paging area(210) by a control station(204), and communicate with mobile stations(202,212) visiting cells(220,221) covered by the base stations(201,211), respectively. The control station(204) is connected to the base stations(201,211) by transmission paths(a,b), controls the mobile stations(202,212) and the base stations(201,211), then sets individual channels(203,213) through the base stations(201,211). Lines of the transmission paths(a,b) are logically set for each individual wireless channel.
