The engine has ducts (1a-4a) that transfer exhaust gas from cylinders to a turbine. The ducts are grouped to constitute two independent manifolds. A distributor (15) is placed upstream of turbine inlets. The distributor is moveable between two positions, in one position it permits manifolds to communicate only with corresponding inlet, and in other position it permits manifolds to communicate with two inlets.
