PURPOSE: To provide a process and apparatus capable of obtaining inorganic spheres having substantially uniform particle diameter at a high productivity over a long period of time by a stable and continuous process. CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus for producing inorganic spheres, the apparatus constructed in such a way that a W/O type emulsion is formed by passing an aqueous liquid containing an inorganic compound in an organic liquid through a plural microscopic holes formed on a partition wall so that the aqueous liquid is extruded, the organic liquid flows through a flow path divided by partition walls at a flow rate of 0.001 to 2 m/s in the laminar flow state, and an inorganic spheres are formed by solidifying the aqueous liquid containing the inorganic compound in the W/O type emulsion, the apparatus is characterized in that the partition wall having the plural microscopic holes is a metal sheet on the surface of which water repellent treatment is performed.
