PURPOSE: A multipurpose hinge is provided to control the closing speed of a door and to close a door automatically by controlling the flow of oil. CONSTITUTION: The multipurpose hinge contains a housing for holding internal components, a cam shaft(230) projected to the upper part of the housing partially and rotated by external force, a lifting guide groove(232) formed on the outer circumference of the cam shaft(230), a guide pin(240) moving along a slit formed on the inner side of the housing, a piston rod(250) connected to the guide pin(240) to move vertically, a piston(260) coupled to the lower part of the piston rod(250) and provided with an oil groove, an elastic member(270) providing elastic force upward from the lower part of the piston(260), and a hydraulic control bar(280) whose end is inserted to an oil groove formed to the center of the section of the piston(260) to change the flow of oil according to the vertical movement of the piston(260).
