TREAD RUBBER COMPOSITION FOR TIRE OF TRUCK AND BUS USING METHYL ESTER OF HYDROGENATED WOOD ROSIN AND STEARIC ACID INSTEAD OF AROMATIC OIL AS PROCESSING AID

PURPOSE: Provides is a tread rubber composition for the tire of a truck and a bus which is improved in processability compared with the already-known rubber compositions and is excellent in exothermic characteristic and abrasion resistance. CONSTITUTION: The tread rubber composition comprises 100 parts by weight of a source rubber; 2-10 parts by weight of methyl ester hydrogenated wood rosin; and 3-6 parts by weight of stearic acid. Preferably the methyl ester hydrogenated wood rosin has a specific gravity of 0.95-1.05, and a viscosity of 22-27 poise at 25 deg.C.
