PURPOSE: A sheet engagement member is provided to enable a sheet cover to be fixedly coated on a narrow channel or slit of a cushioning resin molded article in an easy, secured manner. CONSTITUTION: The sheet engagement member comprises: a fixing portion(11) shaped of a filament or a band and connected to both ends of a sheet(1a,2a) to be inserted into a narrow channel(7a) of a cushioning resin molded article(6a); an engaging portion(13) having a plurality of engaging elements at its outer surface; and a connecting portion(12) connecting the fixing portion(11) with the engaging portion(13), the engaging portion(13) in contact with the connecting portion(12) substantially at right angle.
