PURPOSE: A plasma display panel is provided to decrease address discharging time by forming protruded electrodes projected to a discharge space and extending address electrodes. CONSTITUTION: A plasma display panel includes a sustain electrode pairs(Y,Z), address electrodes(X), and protruded electrodes(110). The sustain electrode pair includes transparent electrodes(112Y,112Z) and metal bus electrodes(113Y,113Z) formed on one side of each transparent electrode. The address electrodes intersect the sustain electrode pair. Each of the protruded electrode is projected from the metal bus electrodes and superposed on the address electrode. The protruded electrodes are projected to a discharge space. The protruded electrodes have a shape of 'I' or 'T'. The address electrodes are extended in the sustain electrode pair and discharge space. |
