<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problems that the conventional filter is easily affected by heat of an exhaust gas and liable to cause clogging, and a metallic product has a disadvantage in capturing carbonaceous particles. <P>SOLUTION: This device is connected to the tip of a muffler of an automobile to take exhaust gas. According to the speed of the automobile, the outside air is introduced from an outside air introduction device 3, and the exhaust gas and oxygen contained in the outside air are mixed and sent to a fire clay sintered perforated iron container 2. The exhaust gas temperature ranging from 180°to 200°is applied by a heating wire temperature raising and lowering heater to reduce the exhaust gas concentration. Dust (fine grains) generated in the exhaust gas becomes a spiral heat flow in the fire clay sintered perforated iron container to be accumulated in a dust accumulating chamber 5 through the perforations.
