PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a miniaturized, efficient and simple packing machine capable of easily and precisely packing granular materials such as cut objects like Chinese herbal medicines and granular cut articles, applicable to these materials individually, and a method of packing, and a convenient bag used for the same. SOLUTION: The packing machine consists of a combination of a hopper 1, a plurality of projecting holes 2 continued from the hopper, and a temporary holding part for opening the base of the hopper 1. Bags are laid over the plurality of projecting holes 2, and granular material is put in the hopper 1. The surface of the granular material is leveled by a measure part 13. The temporary holding part, which closes the base of the hopper 1, is opened, and the granular material is made to fall into the bags from the plurality of projecting holes 2 continued from the hopper 1. The granular material is packed in the above method. The bags are multi-opened connected bags with their bonded part being at least a flat part outside the center of the opening of each bag.
