PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner having a variable sensible heat ratio for allowing the flow rate of refrigerant flowing between a precooler and a reheater, achieving an energy saving air-conditioning system free of useless cooling or dehumidification. SOLUTION: The air conditioner comprises an air cooler 12 for cooling treated air, the precooler 11 for precooling the treated air with the evaporation of refrigerant before cooling it with the air cooler 12, the reheater 13 for heating the treated air with the condensation of the refrigerant after cooling it with the air cooler 12, a first refrigerant passage 21 for feeding the condensed refrigerant from the reheater 13 to the precooler 11, and a second refrigerant passage 22 for feeding the evaporated refrigerant from the precooler 11 to the reheater 13.
