PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera capable of taking a beautiful photo with an excellent S/N characteristic even at a dark place by preventing the effects of a dark current due to a temperature rise caused by current consumption of an imager and the effects of noise by each pixel caused thereby. SOLUTION: A temperature sensor 15 senses the temperature of an imager 3 of the camera for imaging a subject 1. A CPU 11 measures the temperature by each prescribed time and records the result to a memory 7.
