PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the drop and rotation of a spring seat during transportation in a fixing structure of the spring seat. SOLUTION: An annular groove 17 is formed on an outer peripheral part of a cylinder 2 of a hydraulic buffer, and a C-shaped retainer 18 is fitted in the annular groove 17. A fitting part 22 of the spring seat 19 is fitted to the cylinder 2, and a step part 23 is brought into contact with the retainer 18 for positioning. An engagement recessed part 26 is locked on an outer surface of the cylinder 2, and an engagementclaw part 25 formed by cutting and raising a part of the fitting part 22 is bent to a radial inner side to be engaged with the engagement recessed part 26. The spring seat 19 can be held on the cylinder 2 by the engagement of the engagement claw part 26 and the engagement recessed part 26, whereby the drop and rotation during transportation can be surely prevented.
