To provide a one component dental composition in which a polymerzable compound having an acidic group is coexisted with a reducing agent such as a tertiary amine under the existence of water, and which is not cured with time during preservation, the dental composition comprises the polymerlizable compound having an acidic group, the reducing agent, water and an aluminum oxide powder, wherein it is preferable that 0.4 mol equivalent or less of the acidic group of the polymerizable compound having the acidic group and 0.05 mol equivalent or less of a reduction part of the reducing agent are contained per 100 m<2 >of a specific surface area of an aluminum oxide powder and that 5 to 35 weight parts of the polymerizable compound having the acidic group, 0.1 to 5 weight parts of the reducing agent, 10 to 55 weight parts of water, and 0.1 to 5 weight parts of the aluminum oxide powder are contained.
