PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor integrated circuit which can copy data. SOLUTION: The semiconductor integrated circuit comprises a memory cell array 2, word lines WL 1 to WL 64 which are respectively connected to a plurality of rows of the memory cell array 2, bit lines BL 1 to BL 8 which are respectively connected to a plurality of the rows of the memory cell array 2, word line driving circuits WLD 1 to WLD 64 which drive the selected word lines among the word lines WL 1 to WL 64, sense amplifiers SA 1 to SA 8 which write and read the data through the bit lines BL 1 to BL 8, flip-flops FF 1 to FF 8 which hold the data read out by the sense amplifiers SA 1 to SA 8, and a control circuit 3 which performs control so as to read the data out of the memory cell connected to the first word line and and to write the data once held in the flip-flops FF 1 to FF 8 into the memory cell connected to the second word line.
