The baking oven door catch (0) has a base plate (1) and an upper plate with one or more distance spacers for height variation to secure different types of door with different heights. The door catch assembly can be circular and the door flange (10) is attached to the head via a curved groove. The catch flange fits over the edge of the door in the closed position.
