The receiver uses two aerials (2, 3), one behind the other in the direction of travel, which are inductively coupled to line conductors laid alongside the track. Each aerial is coupled to a demodulator (11,12), via respective bandpass filters (9,10), whose output signals (a,b) depend on the amplitude of input signal. The output signals are fed to a summer (13) to produce a third output (c), all three outputs being preferably fed to respective amplitude limiters (15, 16, 14). |
