<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an optical receiver to operate also under the condition of high intensity ambient light being present, and to enhance a signal-to-noise ratio. <P>SOLUTION: This low-noise light receiver comprises a light sensor (10) for generating a sensor signal including a desired signal generated from a light source (9); and an interference signal generated from interference light; an optical filter means for reducing the interference light (40, 50); electric filter means (29, 30) connected to the light source for filtering out the interference signal and generating a correction signal which substantially compensates the interference signal; and a processing means (15, 20) connected to the light sensor and the electric filter means for processing the desired signal in order to generate an output signal (V<SB>out</SB>). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
