<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to surely and efficiently make uniform a current density distribution inside an electrode face in a simple process. <P>SOLUTION: At power generation of a fuel cell 12, current densities at a plurality of measurement positions set on the inside face of the fuel cell 12 are detected by a current density measurement device 60. When, for instance, flooding occurs inside the electrode face, a supply volume of reaction gas is lowered to locally lower the current density. Consequently, when the current density detected gets below a rated value, at least part of fuel gas and oxidant gas is supplied to the fuel cell 12 from bypass supply channels 26, 48 bypassing humidifiers 24, 46. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
