<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the appearance is worsened because a cutout part provided in a main bar to connect a cross bar remains opened in a visible condition in a section from which the cross bar is removed. <P>SOLUTION: This ceiling system is provided with a first bar 3 having the cutout part 5 in a side face part, a second bar 4 which engages an end part with the cutout part 5 and is connected with the first bar 3, and a ceiling panel 2 mounted on a grid G constituted by the first bar 3 and the second bar 4.
