SHEET TRANSPORT DEVICE, IMAGE READING APPARATUS, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet transport device capable of certainly correcting a sheet being fed askew. SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 2 of a complex machine 1 is structured so that resist rollers R8 and R3 are installed in the sheet transporting path from a manuscript tray 22 whereon manuscript sheets are placed till the image reading region where image reading is performed. The resist roller R8 and a roller R4 correct the skew feed of the sheet and send it out to the transporting path till the resist roller R8 located in front of the image reading region. Because the manuscript sheet is transported to the resist roller R8 upon correcting once by the resist roller R3, the skew feed of the sheet can be corrected certainly by the resist roller R8 and a roller R9.
