PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an on-vehicle information providing apparatus reducing a sense of incongruity of an occupant who observes the information providing apparatus in a cabin when a vehicle rolls. SOLUTION: A display unit 107 is configured by a liquid crystal display unit etc. and is arranged in a vehicle advancing direction (e.g. forward direction) with respect to occupants. The display unit 107 enables an occupant to observe an image including both an image by a display signal inputted from an information source device 104 (entertainment information) and a scene outside a vehicle on the front (almost infinite information) by a signal inputted from an almost infinite information input section 105 . A detecting section 106 detects the roll of the vehicle and if a detection value is not less than a predetermined value, the almost infinite information is displayed on the display device 107 preferentially over the entertainment information, and if the detection value is less than the predetermined value, the entertainment information is displayed on the display unit 107 preferentially over the almost infinite information. If the image including both the images is displayed in picture-in-picture display, priority is decided depending on magnitude relation between the area of the almost infinite information and the area of the entertainment information.
