PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording sheet consumption condition detection device capable of calculating a consumption condition of a roll-like recording sheet stored in a magazine. SOLUTION: This recording sheet consumption condition detection device has a memory 9 storing conversion information recording unit weight corresponding per width of the roll-like recording sheet, a recording sheet support base 5, a weight sensor 6 measuring weight of the recording sheet, an ID sensor 7 detecting ID of the recording sheet P, a recording sheet information conversion part 8 for obtaining recording sheet information from an output signal of the ID sensor 7, and a computing means 10 for calculating a consumption condition of the recording sheet based on the recording sheet information, the conversion information, and an output signal of the weight sensor 6.
