PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a frame for an automobile, wherein strength deterioration following welding can be recovered, and the frames are manufactured with favorable productivity. SOLUTION: The frame S1 for an automobile includes one or a plurality of welding frame units 10 wherein connecting members 15 are joined and integrated to both ends of an intermediate member 12 by welding. The intermediate member 12 comprises a rod like hollow material. Before joining the welding frame unit 10 to another welding frame unit 30 or another frame component, the welding frame unit 10 is artificially aged.
