PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concrete segment which is prevented from being chipped, and to provide a chipping preventing device for the concrete segment. SOLUTION: The concrete segments are connected together in plurality to construct a tunnel, and each formed of a segment main body 15, and stress dispersing plates 11. Each stress dispersing plate is arranged at least on part of a connection surface of the segment main body 15, and functions to disperse stress applied to the connection surface.
