PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide more user-friendly and user-programmable keys. SOLUTION: User-programmable "destination keys" include two operating modes, that is, a program mode and an operation mode. The user may choose the mode, by selecting the destination key for either a normal or over a long period. Being responsive to selecting the destination key over a time longer than the normal time, the destination key may be programmed automatically, and/or a user interface may be presented. The destination key may further be programmed in accordance with an automatically determined current context.
