PURPOSE: To provide a color titanium-aluminum alloy for obtaining various and vivid colors and improving wear resistance by forming a titanium-aluminum alloy layer on a surface of a work and coloring the titanium-aluminum alloy layer by anodizing, and a method for manufacturing the color titanium-aluminum alloy. CONSTITUTION: The color titanium-aluminum alloy is characterized in that it is manufactured by a manufacturing method comprising the steps of grinding and washing any one work selected from gold, silver, titanium, stainless steel, tungsten carbide, ceramic, glass, plastic and aluminum; charging the ground and washed work(10) into a vacuum chamber; maintaining the inside of the vacuum chamber to the vacuum state; depositing a titanium-aluminum alloy(20) on a surface of the work by performing the surface treatment on the surface of the work through an ion plating process of depositing gas phased particles of the titanium-aluminum alloy on an outer surface of the work by melting the titanium-aluminum alloy, thereby maintaining the titanium-aluminum alloy in the gas phase state or a sputtering process of depositing particles of the titanium-aluminum alloy sputtered by colliding argon ions with a titanium-aluminum alloy target on the outer surface of the work as maintaining the inside of the vacuum chamber under the vacuum conditions; and manufacturing a color titanium-aluminum alloy on which an anodizing film (30) is formed, and which can be colored according to direct current by treating the titanium-aluminum alloy deposited work through an anodizing process of forming the anodizing film on a surface of the titanium-aluminum alloy by putting the titanium-aluminum alloy deposited work as an anode into an electrolytic bath containing an electrolyte and conducting direct current to the anode.
