The invention relates to a lighter having a simple configuration, which can be used to connect and combine a mobile telephone and a standard lighter, thereby considerably reducing the possibility of the lighter being lost. The inventive lighter is characterised in that the outer casing thereof is equipped with fixing means which are used to connect the lighter to a connection area provided on the associated mobile telephone.
