<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor capable of reading an inclined amount and direction of a green field for golf play. <P>SOLUTION: This sensor includes a semi-spherical container of a shallow bottom and a freely rotating steel ball. A semi-spherical inner face of the container is formed into a concentric circle around the deepest part as the center, electrodes are provided radially in a cover inner face, a high-frequency voltage is impressed between the opposed electrodes in order, and a stopped position, between the electrodes, of the steel ball of the sensor placed on the green field is determined based on an electric capacity change, so as to read quickly the inclination angle and direction of the green field. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
