<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent power supply to a portable telephone which a child or an old person carries from being cut off by an accidental or an intentional key stroke. <P>SOLUTION: If a CPU 11 detects that power-off operation of a power supply key is performed by an operator in a key operation section 17, the CPU requires the operator to input a password by a display section 18. The CPU 11 compares the input password with a password registered beforehand in a nonvolatile memory 16, and if they coincide, the power supply to the portable telephone is cut off. If the passwords do not coincide, power-supply off-operation is inhibited, and moreover the CPU 11 requires the operator to input the password. When a wrong password is inputted predetermined times, the CPU 11 automatically makes a call to the telephone number of a portable telephone registered in the nonvolatile memory 16, reports to the portable telephone of a guardian that illegal power-supply off-operation is performed using audio data 14 in a memory section 13, and advises the guardian to be cautious. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
