PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently recover and wash ink in an ink circulation feeding apparatus for an ink roller of a box manufacturing and printing machine and to minimize a period of stopping of the box manufacturing and printing machine caused by an ink recovering and washing work. SOLUTION: Freely rotatable or slidable drain pipes 26 and 26 are installed at both ends of an ink developing room 2E, and a plurality of outlets H1 and H2 with different opening areas are formed on each of the drain pipes 26. The formed outlets H1 and H2 are varied between an opening area required for keeping the level of the ink in the ink developing room 2E constant, and an opening area required for driving out and recovering the ink from the ink developing room 2E or washing out the remaining ink in the ink developing room 2E by pressure delivering of a washing liquid, by rotating or sliding operation of the drain pipes 26.
