PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toner for static charge image development with less variation due to environmental change superior in toner conveyance, development, transfer and conservation and without generating an abnormal image by controlling and maintaining an amount of friction electrification of the toner. SOLUTION: In the toner for the dry static charge image development mainly comprising a binder resin, a coloring matter, an electrification control agent, and an additive; the binder resin consists of one or more kinds of polyester resin which does not contain a THF insoluble component, and the content of the component of a molecular weight of 5×10<SP>2</SP>or smaller is 4 wt.% or less. The polyester resin has a main peak in the region of a weight molecular weight of 3×10<SP>3</SP>-9×10<SP>3</SP>. The electrification control agent consists of a metal salt compound of salicylic acid or salicylic acid derivative, and the additive contains silica and titanium oxide of specific property.
