PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmitter of a tire condition monitoring device which can specify the mounting position of a tire. SOLUTION: A pair of magnetic bodies 62a, 62b is plated with an 90 degrees interval in the peripheral direction on a fixed screwing part 62. A pair of permanent magnets 72a, 72b is arranged with an 90 degrees interval in the peripheral direction on a magnetic ring 72. The magnetic bodies 62a, 62b are magnetized or not magnetized in accordance with a distance relation of the magnetic bodies 62a, 62b and the permanent magnets 72a, 72b. An MR sensor 33 outputs a magnetization detection signal to a transmission controller 31 in accordance with magnetic resistance of the magnetic bodies 62a, 62b.
