PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recorder, and an image recording method and a program capable of efficiently recording image data on the same recording medium even when a customer's order includes a plurality of images. SOLUTION: This image recorder has an image processing means 3 for performing image processing of a plurality of pieces of image data read from an image inputting means 1 and a recording means 5 for recording the image data processed by the image processing means 3 on the recording medium. The image recorder has a grouping means 2 for forming the plurality of read pieces of image data into a group and a processing completion determining means 4 for determining whether image processing of all of the image data in the group has been completed, wherein the recording means performs control that starts recording to the recording medium when the processing completion determining means 4 determines that the image processing has been completed.
