PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome the problem wherein retrieval of a document file takes comparatively much trouble. SOLUTION: An IM server 14 provides instant message services to a document management device 100, a first client 16a and a second client 16b. The first client 16a transmits a first instant message 20 added with a pre-processing body 28 to the document management device 100. The document management device 100 retrieves a document file related to a keyword included in the pre-processing body 28. The document management device 100 produces a second instant message 30 added with a retrieval result, and transmits it to the second client 16b.
