PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid detergent composition which has appropriate viscosity and high detergency, even when an alkylbenzene sulfonate containing a reduced amount of a benzocycloalkane derivative is used and causes no problem, when stored at low temperatures. SOLUTION: The liquid detergent composition includes (a) a mixture of specific polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether ester salt surfactants, (b) a mixture of specific alkylbenzene sulfonate surfactants and water each in specific ratio and has viscosity of 200-1,000 mPa×s at 20°C.
