PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hanger capable of hanging down any object such as a segment easily and certainly. SOLUTION: The hanger is structured so that when a stopper disengaging member 6 is pushed toward the forefront of the body 1, a slide member 3 restrained by a stopper 5 is released and the slide member 3 slides together with the member 6 against the energization force to cause a tongue member 2 to turn into the accommodated position. In this condition, the body 1 is inserted into an engaging hole in the object to be held, and then the disengaging member 6 pressing it is released, and thereby the slide member 3 is made to slide by the energization force toward the base end of the body 1 to cause the tongue member 2 to turn to the protruded position, and the engagement surface 2a is engaged with the periphery of the engaging hole in the object to result in this hanger to be attached to the object. In the same manner, if the disengaging member 6 is pushed and the body 1 is drawn out of the engaging hole in the condition that the tongue member 2 is located in the accommodated position, the hanger can be removed from the object.
