PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the so-called seamless rod-shaped member with a shaft, wherein a uniform cell diameter is achieved as a whole, not producing the seam (joint) caused by the parting line of split molds. SOLUTION: The seamless rod-shaped member with the shaft is constituted of a rod-shaped main body part 46 comprising a thermosetting resin after thermally cured, the shaft 80 with a required length inserted in the rod-shaped main body part 46 and a jacket 12 comprising a thermoplastic resin after solidified and integrally molded so as to cover the rod-shaped main body part 46. Herein, the thermosetting resin is a foam foamed mechanically or chemically and the rod-shaped main body part 46 is obtained as an open-cell structure. The rod-shaped main body part 46 comprising the thermosetting resin and having the jacket 12 integrally molded thereon is obtained as an open-cell or closed-cell structure.
