PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a sensitive material from being damaged with a radical acceleration by eliminating the defects of the known technique to distribute a mixture having an optional concentration uniformly on the inner circumferential surface of a screen drum and to control the acceleration so that the mixture is not radically accelerated. SOLUTION: An outer screen drum 6 rotatable around an axis 5 of rotation and a mixture distributor 7 arranged in the outer screen drum 6 and having a pusher base apparatus 8 are included in a pusher centrifuge and a solid cake 3 is exctuded by means of the pusher base apparatus 8 reciprocally movable along the axis of the rotation. The pusher base apparatus 8 includes a feed device 9 having an inlet hopper 10 which extends in a substantially divergent manner toward the pusher base apparatus 8.
