PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste water treatment method by which the amount of a flocculant to be used and the amount of sludge to be produced are reduced. SOLUTION: Surfactant-containing waste water including a surfactant aqueous solution and produced from a production process is made to flow to a waste water line for a surfactant. The surfactant-containing waste water is treated in the waste water line for a surfactant. A non-surfactant-containing waste water including at least one selected from a pigment-dispersed solution, a wax-dispersed solution, a silica-dispersed solution, and an emulsion aqueous solution and produced from a production process is made to flow to a waste water line for a non-surfactant.
