<p>PURPOSE:To improve the operability and reliability of a touch panel controller by providing a designated position correcting means which compares a designated position with each symbol and discriminates the symbol at the shortest distance as the real designated symbol. CONSTITUTION:A coordinate correcting section 22 compares distances d1, d2, etc., from a coordinate position with each other and discriminates the apparatus symbol (3-1)-(3-3) at the minimum distance. When the apparatus symbol at the shortest distance is 3-1, the section 22 discriminates that the symbol 3-1 is the real designated apparatus symbol. Then a computer 20 for control discriminates whether the designated symbol is an apparatus symbol or state symbol and sends a selection confirming signal to a CRT display device 1 through a display driving section 23 and the designated apparatus symbol 3-1 of the apparatus symbols 3 displayed on the display device 1 is displayed by printing. Therefore, the operability and reliability can be improved.</p> |
