A tractor-drawn haymaking machine has a central spine with four wheel-supported side-arms and spinning rotors (9, 10). The side arms are folded into a V-shaped array alongside the spine during transit to or from a field, and the supporting wheels realigned with the direction of travel (6). The maximum operating with is extended by two further side-arms and rotors (11) which precede the primary side-arms.
