DISTANCE DETECTION SYSTEM

A distance detection system having an improved distance detection accuracy achieved through a simple arrangement, an electric field producing device and an electric field producing method. A quasistatic electric field is produced such that a specified strength can be attained at each of the distances corresponding to a plurality frequencies. Since a quasistatic electric field reflecting the distance extremely clearly is thus produced such that a specified strength can be attained at each of distances corresponding to a plurality frequencies a distance corresponding to a relevant strength can be detected with high accuracy without requiring a troublesome control or a special device, and the accuracy of distance detection can be enhanced through a simple arrangement.
