PURPOSE:To contrive the improvement of the maintenance property by diagnosing a device in accordance with a result of analysis of a state of the device in which a fault is generated, and also, diagnosing again the device in response to an external signal which is inputted after a maintenance work corresponding to a result of diagnosis of the device is executed. CONSTITUTION:When an error is generated due to a fault of a circuit, etc. in the course of operation of each device such as an operation processor, an input/output processor or a storage device, etc. in a central processor 1, a state signal for showing an operating state is sent out to an error processing part 2. The error processing part 2 sends out a device state to a diagnostic control part 4, and when the diagnosis can be executed, the diagnostic control part 4 outputs a diagnostic execution request of the device in which an error is generated to a diagnostic execution part 3. In such a way, the diagnosis is executed by the diagnostic execution part 3, a maintenance work corresponding to a result of its diagnosis is executed by a maintenance person and an operator, and thereafter, in response to a diagnostic request inputted by an operation of a diagnostic operation part 5, the device is diagnosed by the diagnostic execution part 3. In such a way, the diagnosis at the time when a fault is generated is executed automatically, and the maintenance property is improved. |
