<p>PURPOSE:To improve the opacity, whiteness, and aging stabilities by compounding an emulsion of an acrylic/styrene copolymer of a spherical capsule shape, and if necessary water, a water-sol. resin, a water-dispersible resin, an alcohol, a colorant, etc. CONSTITUTION:8-50wt.% (solid base) emulsion of an acrylic/styrene copolymer of a spherical capsule shape acting as a microcapsular plastic pigment (wherein the shell of the capsule comprises said copolymer; the outer and inner diameters of the shell are 0.4-0.6mum and 0.2-0.4mum respectively; the apparent density of the shell of the shell of the shell is about 0.81; and the shell is filled with water), and if necessary water, a water-sol. resin, a water-dispersible resin, a mono- or polyhydric alcohol, a mildewproof agent, and a colorant are compounded together.</p> |
